All stunning… check out one of my all time favourites from Grand Designs – built on a ridiculously narrow “slice” of land between two other dwellings the owner/builder made brilliant use of windows… his own design!!!

Check out the shower screen – have seen another house on the program where all the internal bedroom “walls” facing onto the living area were that type of glass – flick a switch, instant privacy…

Work those forearms and hands Bob! The body is an amazing yet interesting subject for me. As for those windows, if your not good with a squeegee? try just adding 10mil quality dishwashing detergent to 100mils of water in a spray trigger bottle and spray the window and wipe off with a lint free towel or newspaper as an alternative. Tip: never clean when direct sunlight is on the window.

Was looking for detergent formulae to clean my grotty Russian windows and found your post about Chinese handballs.

Then I remembered a set that a girlfriend had left me about eight years ago, and I found them deep in my cupboard. Memories revived!

I remembered this company from my Tech Plas days when the Lafleur brothers were just starting out… I think they’ve come a long way since then, judging by their website!!! They don’t seem to do it any more, but they also used to install internal flyscreens in a similar way, but with a flexible frame so you could “peel” them back to access the window to open/clean it – great for old homes with gorgeous windows that would be ruined by installing screens on the outside…
